O. C. Hubert Park is located in northwest Cobb County. The park has four fields, which were converted from grass to artificial turf in 2018. The park is in the middle of a busy commercial area, so there’s plenty of shopping or eating choices nearby if you’re there for a tournament.

Directions from Metro North Park

Driving time is approximately 45 minutes from MNP. Driving directions:

  1. Turn right onto Paper Mill Road and go about 3 miles until Paper Mill ends at Terrell Mill Road.
  2. Turn left at a traffic light onto Terrell Mill and go about 2.2 miles. Terrell Mill becomes Delk Road during this stretch.
  3. Take the entrance ramp on the right for I-75 North. Take I-75 until exit #271, Chastain Road.
  4. Turn left onto Chastain Road and go about 2 miles. During this stretch, you’ll pass Kennesaw State on the right and McCollum Airport on the left. Shortly after you pass the airport, you’ll come to a major intersection with US-41 / Cobb Parkway. Get in either of the right turn lanes. There’s a skating rink on the left just before the intersection, with a Huddle House on the right at the intersection.
  5. Turn right onto US-41 / Cobb Parkway and go 4.8 miles. When you pass the Super Target shopping center on the right, you’re close. The entrance to the park is on the right just before Discount Tire.

Directions from United Quest Park

Driving time is approximately 30 minutes from UQP. Driving directions:

  1. Turn right onto Hawkins Store Road, go 1.6 miles to Bells Ferry Road.
  2. Turn left onto Bells Ferry, go 0.3 miles.
  3. Take the entrance ramp on the right for I-575 South. Stay in the entrance lane; it becomes the exit lane for Chastain Road.
  4. Take the first exit, Chastain Road, and turn right at the top of the exit ramp onto Chastain.
    Stay on Chastain Road for 3.2 miles. During this stretch, you’ll pass Kennesaw State on the right and McCollum Airport on the left. Shortly after you pass the airport, you’ll come to a major intersection with US-41 / Cobb Parkway. Get in either of the right turn lanes. There’s a skating rink on the left just before the intersection, with a Huddle House on the right at the intersection.
  5. Turn right onto US-41 / Cobb Parkway and go 4.8 miles. When you pass the Super Target shopping center on the right, you’re close. The entrance to the park is on the right just before Discount Tire.

The trip home

When you exit the park, you can only turn right (north) onto US-41 / Cobb Parkway. If you need to head south, you have two choices:

Cut through the Super Target shopping center:

  • When leaving the park, turn left when you see Discount Tire, before you reach US-41 / Cobb Parkway. Cut through a bank parking lot. When you reach a 3-way stop, turn left and drive up a hill a short distance. This takes you into the large Super Target shopping center. Wind around to the right, and you’ll get a chance to turn left (south) onto US-41 / Cobb Parkway at a traffic light with a left-turn arrow and two left turn lanes.

U-turn on US-41 / Cobb Parkway:

  • When leaving the park, pass Discount Tire, and turn right onto US-41 / Cobb Parkway. Get into the left lane; there’s a major intersection with a U-turn opportunity about a quarter mile down the road. This tends to back up during periods of heavy traffic, so it’s not unusual to have to wait through a couple of light cycles before you can make your U-turn.
