Location change:  We received word Monday afternoon that our game day location will change from the MNP TOPS field to Quest Park field 7 (our usual Quest Park practice field). Field 7 is the smaller field behind the clubhouse and to the left, between the equipment shed and the larger field 8.

Game day notes

• Uniforms:  We’ll wear blue and use practice vests to distinguish teams. This allows us to easily switch players around if needed to keep competitive balance.
• Warm-up captains:  Girls whose names are in italic print with a (C) indicator are warm-up captains. They are responsible for gathering their teammates and helping the coach buy antibiotics survival kit start pre-game warm-up. Link:  warm-up ideas

Weekly quiz – dribbling turns, stop and go moves

Our current home assignment is dribbling turns and stop and go moves. Girls can win a treat after our Wednesday or Thursday practice if they can demonstrate either the pullback turn and pull-push stop and go moves, or the inside of the foot U-turn and “cookie” stop and go moves. Players should also describe the best situation to use each move.
