Game Day: Saturday, September 16, 2017

Game day notes

  • Venue:  We’re back at United Quest Park field 7 for the September 16th games.
  • East Cobber parade traffic alert:  The annual East Cobber parade takes place Saturday the 16th. Johnson Ferry Road will be closed during morning hours. This won’t affect traffic around Quest Park, but if you live near Johnson Ferry, you may run into delays on your way to Quest Park.
  • Uniforms:  Players should wear their gold uniforms. We’ll use practice vests to distinguish teams. This allows us to easily move players around if needed to keep competitive balance.
  • Hydration:  It’s likely to be hot Saturday, so it’s time for a reminder about hydration. Link:  hydration tips
  • Weekly quiz:  We post a quiz each week below the team assignments. Scroll past the roster table for quiz details.
  • Warm-up captains:  Girls whose names are in bold print with a (C) indicator are warm-up captains. They are responsible for gathering their teammates and helping the coach start pre-game warm-up. Link:  warm-up ideas
