Game day notes

  • Venue:  We are away this game day, playing at the Tophat fields in Buckhead.
  • Guest coach:  Hailey will be a world traveling jet-setter the next two weeks! Our good friend McKenna will fill in for Hailey on our October 15th game day.
  • Uniforms:  Players should wear their navy blue uniforms. We’ll use practice vests to distinguish teams in the intra-Academy game, which allows us to easily move players around if needed to keep competitive balance.
  • Hydration:  We’ll likely play in some heat, so it’s time for our regular reminder about hydration. Proper hydration helps players perform at their peak! Link:  hydration tips

  • Warm-up captains:  Girls whose names are in bold print with a (C) indicator are warm-up captains. They are responsible for gathering their teammates and helping the coach start pre-game warm-up. Link:  warm-up ideas
