Saturday, October 28 game day notes
- Venue: We play at United Quest Park field 7.
- Uniforms: Players should wear their gold uniforms. We’ll split the girls into teams during warm-up, and use practice vests to distinguish teams. This allows us to easily move players around if needed to keep competitive balance.
- Label warm-ups: We may have cooler weather, with girls wanting to wear warm-up pants and tops during warm-up. Parents, please make sure your daughter’s warm-up pants and jacket are labeled with her initials and uniform number. This will help minimize or eliminate lost and found issues.
- Weekly quiz: We post a quiz each week below the team assignments. Scroll past the roster table for quiz details.
- Warm-up captains: We will assign team captains at the fields.
Saturday weather updates:
We are due for rain. Assume all games will be played as scheduled unless you hear otherwise from our Junior Academy Twitter account or phone hot-line. We will update these channels by 7:30 AM Saturday. Conditions could change after the first update, so if your daughter is due to play at 10:30 or 12:00, check before you leave your house.

The game has been canceled due to unplayable fields. We have a single Sunday afternoon bonus game. It’s a 4 PM away game at the GSA soccer complex in Lilburn (Gwinnett County), and it’s our first 7v7 game. Only a portion of our player pool will play in this game. (Everyone will get to play the 7v7 format the following weekend.)
Field assignment:
Our game is on Bender field A. This is 5-10 minute hike from the parking lot, so plan accordingly. Link: GSA Lilburn complex field layout
Sunday weather updates:
We are away against GSA in Lilburn (Gwinnett County). GSA posts field status updates on their web page (see right side of page) and/or via text messages (details here). They don’t have a phone hot-line.
