Game Day: Saturday, September 15, 2018

Game day notes

  • Where is the TOPS field?  This is our regular Metro North practice field, where we held our August team camp.
  • Uniforms:  Players should wear their navy blue uniforms. We’ll use practice vests to distinguish teams. This allows us to easily move players around if needed to keep competitive balance.
    • Uniform not yet delivered?  Your daughter should wear dark shorts and socks, and her gray NTH practice jersey.
  • Hydration:  It’s likely to be hot Saturday, so it’s time for a reminder about hydration. Link:  hydration tips
  • Weekly quiz:  We post a quiz each week below the team assignments. Scroll past the roster table for quiz details.
  • Warm-up captains:  Girls whose names are in bold print with a (C) indicator are warm-up captains. They are responsible for gathering their teammates and helping the coach start pre-game warm-up. Link:  warm-up ideas

Travel alert:  East Cobber Parade

The annual East Cobber Parade & Festival takes place September 15. A big chunk of Johnson Ferry Road will be closed for the parade, so this may require you to plan an alternate route to Metro North Park. Click the above link for details about the parade route and road closure
