Weather update (Saturday, March 16 @ 6:45 AM): Some NTH grass fields are closed, but we’re on the fake stuff, so our games will be played as scheduled.
Game day notes
- Reminders: Shirts tucked in, no jewelry!
- Uniforms: Players should wear their yellow game day uniforms. We’ll use practice vests to distinguish teams for the intra-Academy games. This allows us to easily move players around if needed to keep competitive balance.
- Early morning cold? The forecast calls for chilly temperatures. Link: cold weather attire
- Game times: Time slots are 75 minutes instead of the more common 90 minute length, so girls in the 10:15 game will have a slightly shorter warm-up period than usual.
- Hydration: Hydrated players are more likely to perform well throughout the game. Link: hydration tips
- Weekly quiz: We post a quiz each week below the team assignments. Scroll past the roster table for quiz details.
- Captains: Girls whose names are in bold print with a (C) indicator are captains. They are responsible for gathering their teammates and helping the coach start pre-game warm-up. Link: warm-up ideas

Weekly quiz – dribbling moves
Girls can win a treat after our Wednesday or Thursday practice if they can demonstrate at least two dribbling moves to get away from pressure, and also answer this question: “What are the three parts of a dribbling move?“
Example: the step-over turn. Click the link for a description and video demos, or check the still photos below.
