We have a mixed schedule, with two morning intra-Academy 7v7 games followed by a 5v5 game against the NTH Smyrna girls. All games are at Metro North Park on our usual TOPS practice and game day field.
Game day notes:
- Cold weather: We’re due for temperatures in the 30s for the early game, and 40s for the later games. Girls will want to dress for the conditions. Link: tips on cold weather attire. As a player warms up, she may want to remove a layer, so off comes a jacket or pants. And on comes the evil lost & found gremlin. Please make sure your daughter’s warm-up jacket and pants are labeled — use a Sharpie to mark her initials and uniform number on one of the internal tags or labels.
- Double-header girls: We have several girls scheduled to play in two games. Look for the “(1)” and “(2)” indicators next to the double-header girls’ names.
- Uniforms: Players should wear their yellow uniforms, but also bring their blue shirts in case of an unexpected color conflict.

- Warm-up captains: Girls whose names are in bold print with a (C) indicator are warm-up captains. They are responsible for gathering their teammates and helping the coach start pre-game warm-up. Link: warm-up ideas
