Agnes Scott College is located in Decatur, about 5 miles east of downtown Atlanta (a couple of miles from the Fernbank Science Center).

Driving time is 45-60 minutes from the United Quest Park clubhouse. You can either take I-75/I-85 into downtown Atlanta, or take I-285 around Atlanta. For weeknight games, we recommend the first route (via I-75 into Atlanta).

Directions via I-75/I-85 through downtown:

  1. Take I-75 South into Atlanta.
  2. Take exit #249D:  North Avenue (Georgia Tech/The Varsity).
  3. Turn left onto North Avenue.
  4. You’ll cross W. Peachtree Street, then cross Peachtree Street.
  5. At the next intersection, turn left onto Piedmont Road.
  6. At the next intersection, turn right onto Ponce De Leon Road (Highway 78/278).
  7. Stay on Ponce De Leon for about 5 miles. Based on a map review, you’ll come to two forks during this stretch. The first fork goes left for Ponce (right for East Lake). The second fork goes right for Ponce, (left for Scott Boulevard). Stay on Ponce.
  8. As you get into Decatur, you’ll pass the Post Office and the Courthouse on your right.
  9. Soon afterwards, turn right onto E. Trinity Place.
  10. After about 0.5 miles, E. Trinity Place crosses College Avenue and becomes Candler Street (Highway 155).
  11. Agnes Scott College is on the right.
  12. Turn right onto Dougherty Street (this may be named E. Dougherty Street).
  13. You’ll see a gymnasium on the left and tennis courts on the right.
  14. Park at the tennis courts.
  15. The soccer field is across from the tennis courts next to the gym.

Directions via I-285 around Atlanta:

  1. Take I-75 South to I-285.
  2. Take I-285 East, passing the “spaghetti junction” interchange.
  3. Take I-85 South to exit #91:  Clairmont Road (Highway 23/155).
  4. Turn left onto Clairmont Road (heading toward Decatur).
  5. Stay on Clairmont Road for 5 miles or so. You’ll cross North Decatur Road and Scott Boulevard.
  6. Less than a mile after you cross Scott Boulevard, Clairmont ends in Decatur. The Courthouse and City Hall are nearby.
  7. Turn left onto E. Ponce De Leon Avenue.
  8. Turn right onto Church Street (this turn is only about 0.1 miles down E. Ponce).
  9. Turn left onto E. Trinity Place (this turn is only about 0.2 miles down Church).
  10. E. Trinity Place crosses College Avenue and becomes Candler Street (Highway 155).
  11. Agnes Scott College is on the right.
  12. Turn right onto Dougherty Street (this may be named E. Dougherty Street).
  13. You’ll see a gymnasium on the left and tennis courts on the right.
  14. Park at the tennis courts.
  15. The soccer field is across from the tennis courts next to the gym.
