George Pierce Park is a large multi-purpose park in the northeast metro Atlanta suburbs. The park has concession and restroom facilities.

Directions from NTH fields

Driving time is approximately 40 minutes from Metro North Park. Start with step 2 below. Driving time is approximately 50 minutes from United Quest Park. Start with step 1.

  1. Take I-75 South to exit #259A for I-285 East (Augusta/Greenville). The I-285 exit has 3 lanes; get in the center or right lane to head east.
  2. Take I-285 East to exit #33B:  I-85 North (the “spaghetti junction” interchange).
  3. Take I-85 North for 12.7 miles to exit #111:  GA Highway 317 / Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road.
  4. Turn left onto GA-317 / Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road and go 2.3 miles until the intersection with Buford Highway (US-23).
  5. Turn right onto Buford Highway (US-23) and go 0.2 miles.
  6. Turn right at a traffic light into George Pierce Park. Continue on the main entrance road for 0.4 miles, then turn right into the soccer complex parking lot.

From Quest Park via local roads:

  1. Turn left onto Hawkins Store Road, continue to Canton Road.
  2. Turn left (north) onto Canton Road and continue for 0.7 miles.
  3. Turn right onto Shallowford Road and continue for 3.8 miles.
  4. Turn left onto Sandy Plains Road and continue for 3.1 miles until it ends at Highway 92, also called Woodstock Road.
  5. Turn right onto Highway 92 (Woodstock Road). You’ll stay on this road for 7.1 miles until you reach GA Highway 400 (also called US-19). During this stretch, the road name changes to Crossville Road and Holcomb Bridge Road. As you approach GA-400, you’ll want to be in the left lane.
  6. Turn left onto the entrance ramp for GA-400 North (US-19).
  7. Continue on GA-400 North for just under 16 miles until exit #14:  Buford Hwy / GA-20.
  8. Turn right at the end of the exit ramp onto GA-20 / Buford Hwy and continue just under 6 miles. During this stretch, the road name changes to Cumming Hwy when you cross over the Chattahoochee River..
  9. Turn right onto Suwanee Dam Road (Publix shopping center on the far left) and continue 5 miles.
  10. Turn left onto Buford Highway / US-23 (library and fire station on the near left) and continue 0.2 miles.
  11. Turn right at a traffic light into George Pierce Park. Continue on the main entrance road for 0.4 miles, then turn right into the soccer complex parking lot.
