Pleasantdale Park is located in the shadows of the “spaghetti junction” interchange of I-285 and I-85 northeast of Atlanta. We’re told that GPS systems sometimes get fooled by the address. The driving directions below will get you to the right spot.

Driving directions from MNP and UQP

Approximate driving time is 30 minutes from MNP (start with step 2 below) and 45 minutes from UQP (start with step 1).

  1. Take I-75 South to exit #259A for I-285 East (Augusta/Greenville). The I-285 exit has 3 lanes; get in the center or right lane to head east.
  2. Take I-285 East to exit #33B: I-85 North (the “spaghetti junction” interchange).
  3. The exit ramp from I-285 onto I-85 is a long one with multiple lanes. You’ll exit onto Pleasantdale Road before you actually merge onto I-85. The right-most lane of the ramp becomes an exit to Northcrest Road. The 2nd-to-right lane becomes an exit to Pleasantdale Road. The exits are clearly marked.
  4. Turn right at the end of the exit ramp onto Pleasantdale Road and go 0.8 miles. You’ll see a Burger King, a UPS facility and a Blimpie shop on the right during this stretch.
  5. Pleasantdale Park is on the right. The entrance is clearly visible from Pleasantdale Road.

Field 2 is located in front of the main parking lot. Field 1 is located at the top of a hill behind and to the left of field 2.
