- Merge onto GA 85 South toward Riverdale.
- Go 12.7 miles on GA 85, then turn right onto Hood Avenue. Hood is easy to miss. It’s the first right after the large intersection of GA 85 / Forrest Avenue, which has a Checkers on the near right and a BP station on the far right. The turn for Hood is just past the BP.

Alternate directions via Union City (avoids downtown Atlanta and GA Hwy 85):
- Take I-75 South to I-285 West (exit 259: Birmingham / Tampa). The I-285 exit has 3 lanes; get in the center or left lane to head west.
- Take I-285 West approximately 20 miles until the interchange with I-85 South a couple of miles past Camp Creek Parkway.
- Take I-85 South (toward Columbus) for about 3 miles to exit # 64: GA Highway 138 / Union City / Jonesboro Road.
- Turn left onto Highway 138 and go 4.5 miles (you’ll pass several car dealerships).
- Turn right at a traffic light onto Highway 279 and go 2 miles (you’ll pass Evander Holyfield’s old mansion on the right).
- Turn right at a traffic light onto Highway 314 and go 4.6 miles until you reach GA Highway 85 (not I-85).
- Bear right onto GA 85 South (also called Glynn Street) and go 0.6 miles. At the 0.5 mile mark, you’ll cross through a large intersection with Forrest Avenue, which has a Checkers on the near right and a BP station on the far right.
- Turn right onto Hood Avenue. This turn is easy to miss.
- Go 0.3 miles on Hood, then turn left onto Tiger Trail. The fields are on the right. Park in one of the school lots past the fields.
The trip home:
Turning left from Hood onto GA-85 North can be challenging. You may find it easier to turn right onto GA-85 South and then take a U-turn to switch back to the proper direction.
