The Whitlock fields are located in Newnan, southwest of Atlanta. The park has restroom and concession facilities, and is within minutes of numerous restaurants.

Driving directions from NTH parks

Driving time is approximately 60 minutes from Metro North Park (start with step 2), and 75 minutes from United Quest Park.

  1. If starting at United Quest, take I-75 South to I-285 West (exit 259, labeled Birmingham / Tampa, heading toward the airport). The I-285 exit has 3 lanes; get in the center or left lane to head west. Skip to step 3 below.
  2. If starting at Metro North Park, take Riverside Drive to the I-285 interchange, then turn right onto the entrance ramp for I-285 West.
  3. Stay on I-285 West for 20+ miles. When you pass the Camp Creek Parkway exit, you’re getting close to the next exit.
  4. Take exit 61:  I-85 South, Columbus / Montgomery. Bear right at the fork for the I-85 South option.
  5. Stay on I-85 South for 22.4 miles until you reach exit #47:  SR-34, Newnan/Peachtree City, also called Highway 34 or Bullsboro Drive.
  6. At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto Highway 34 and pass back under I-85.
  7. Stay on Highway 34 for 1.5 miles. This is a busy road with lots of shopping centers and restaurants.
  8. Turn left between a car dealership and a QT onto International Parkway (formerly Walt Sanders Memorial Drive).
  9. The Whitlock complex is on the left. There are two parking lots. Use the first lot for fields 6 and higher, the second lot for fields 1-5.
