Driving directions from NTH parks:
Driving time from Metro North Park is about 65 minutes. Driving time from United Quest Park is about 75 minutes (start with step 2 below). Driving directions:
- Take I-285 West to I-75 South.
- Take I-75 South through Atlanta past the airport to exit #235: SR-3 / US-19 / US-41 / Old Dixie Highway / Tara Blvd. This exit ramp automatically leads you south.
- Take US-19/41 South for 21 miles into Griffin. The road is also named Tara Blvd. at various stages. Landmarks: During the final mile, you’ll pass Buick / GMC / Nissan car dealerships on the left, then a skating rink on the right, then a Firestone service center on the left just before the next turn.
- Turn right onto Vineyard Road and go 0.8 miles to Cowan Road. (This turn can sneak up on you. If you miss it, check the next section for an easy fix.)
- Turn left onto Cowan and go 0.9 miles to the park.
- Turn right to enter the park, and take the first right to get to the soccer fields.
Did you miss the turn onto Vineyard?
- If so, stay on US-19 / US-41 for about another 1.5 miles until you reach a major intersection with McIntosh Road / Hwy 92. Landmarks: Dunkin’ Donuts, Waffle House, Longhorn Steakhouse on the right as you approach this intersection.
- Turn right onto McIntosh and go 0.8 miles to Cowan Road.
- Turn right onto Cowan and go 0.6 miles to the park.
- Turn left to enter the park, and take the first right to get to the soccer fields.
Alternate route for race weekends (avoids Atlanta Motor Speedway):
- Take I-75 South to I-285 West (exit 259, labeled Birmingham / Tampa, heading toward the airport). The I-285 exit has 3 lanes; get in the center or left lane to head west.
- Stay on I-285 until the exit for I-85 South (a couple of miles past Camp Creek Parkway).
- Take I-85 South (toward Columbus) for about 3 miles until exit # 64 (old exit # 13): GA Highway 138 / Union City / Jonesboro Road.
- Turn left onto GA-138 and continue 4.2 miles to a right turn lane for Westbridge Road. If you reach Highway 279, you’ve gone about a quarter mile too far.
- Turn right onto Westbridge Road and continue 3 miles until you reach an intersection with GA Highway 92.
- Turn left onto GA-92 South and continue 21.2 miles into Griffin. Stay alert: during this stretch, you’ll need to make three turns to stay on GA-92 South: right at GA-85, left after you go through downtown Fayetteville, then right again 0.7 miles afterwards.
- Turn left onto Vineyard Road. This is a “Y” intersection with a pond on the right side of the road. Continue on Vineyard for 2.3 miles.
- Turn right onto Cowan Road (very easy to miss if you’re not tracking your odometer) and continue less than a mile. The park entrance is on the right. After you enter the park, take the first right for the soccer fields.
- If you miss the turn for Vineyard, continue on GA 92 for another 2.5 to 3 miles, then turn left at a traffic light onto Cowan Road and continue 0.6 miles to reach the park entrance on your left.

- If you continue west on McDonough / Truett Cathy past Lovejoy, you’ll reach McCurry Park South on your left after 5.2 miles, and McCurry Park North on your right after 5.7 miles (just before you reach Highway 54).
