We encourage families to check out the Kennesaw State Owls women’s soccer team! This is a great opportunity to see higher level soccer up close, which is often a missing piece in the American youth soccer development process.
The price is excellent: free admission (regular season games, both kids and adults), and free parking!
About the Owls:
The Owls are an NCAA Division 1 team and play in the Atlantic Sun (A-Sun) conference. The team plays its home games at the fan friendly Fifth Third Bank Stadium, off Chastain Road between I-75 and I-575. Most of the Owls home games are on Thursday or Friday nights, or Sunday early afternoons or evenings. Link: 2021 schedule
An added bonus: the Owls players are good role models and typically meet with fans after the games to sign autographs and pose for pictures!
Security policies:

Spectator turns player:
In this Easter Sunday 2011 photo, Kathryn Schreck was a NASA Academy U12 player sitting at Fifth Third Bank Stadium watching the Atlanta Beat. She became an Owl and now plays in the same stadium. Pretty cool! (Who else do you know in this photo?)
