Spring break 2024 preview

Many local school systems have a spring break the week of April 1-5, 2024.

We’ll keep our regular practice schedule the week of March 25th before spring break starts. We’ll adjust our schedule for the schools’ spring break week, and the weekends before (March 30-31) and after (April 6-7) the school break.

Spring Break 2024 activity poll:

NTH doesn’t schedule regular Academy game day schedules during the weekends leading into or following spring break. But if there are enough players in town and available for spring break soccer, we’ll offer an adjusted schedule.

If your daughter is available to attend any of the spring break events listed below, please respond via e-mail. For example, if your daughter is available for the first event only, reply Event 1 Yes. If your daughter is available for multiple events, reply once and include all  available event numbers, for example Events 2 and 4 yes. Our spring break events are free and optional (come if you can).

Event #4:  Sunday, April 7. Event is a go!

Event #4:  Sunday, April 7, mini game day, 12:30-1:45 PM, United Quest Park field #8. Girls should wear yellow uniforms (crazy socks are OK) and arrive for warm-up at 12:15 PM.

  • Response deadline for players:  9 PM Friday, March 29. 11 players currently available.

Before you head to the fields, please check this web page for any late updates. We’ll update the events page daily instead of sending daily confirmation e-mails.

Event #1:  Saturday, March 30. Event is a go!

Event #1:  Saturday, March 30, mini game day, 11:15 AM – 12:30 PM, Metro North Tops field. Girls should wear blue uniforms (crazy socks are OK) and arrive at 11:00 AM.

  • Event status update (Friday, March 29 @ 3 PM):  We had 10 girls play a spirited 5v5 game, with mild temps and sunny skies, Plus we celebrated a player’s birthday with cookies and a stuffed giraffe. Nice!

Event #2:  Tuesday, April 2. Event is canceled.

Event #2:  Tuesday, April 2: Informal scrimmages, 4:45-6:00 PM, Metro North Tops field. We received word from PlayMetrics that NTH fields at Metro North Park have been closed for the week (April 1-4). This would affect our weekday plans. We’ll try to get confirmation and/or a Plan B on Monday.

  •  Tuesday’s session has been canceled due to low player availability count and field space issues.

Event #3:  Wednesday, April 3. Event is a go (with a field change).

Update from Tuesday, April 2 @ 5:45 PM.  Informal scrimmages, 5:30-6:45 PM @ Noonday Park Back field #7. We’ve got more available players plus a Plan B for field space. Girls should wear practice uniforms with gray shirts (crazy socks are OK)

  • We’re moving the Wednesday event from Quest Park to Noonday Park Back field #7. Noonday Back fields are best accessed by the Noonday entrance off Shallowford Road. (It’s the field where we held the 2023 Soccer Shocker Halloween event last fall. Check back after 6 PM on Tuesday April 2nd for a status update about Wednesday’s event.
