We have a set of three games on Saturday, September 25. Games are split between Noonday Park (back side) and Quest Park.
Game day notes:
- Two venues: The 9:00 AM game takes place at Noonday Park on the back fields (field #9A). The 12:00 and 1:15 PM games take place at Quest Park on one of our regular fields (field #7A). If your daughter is playing in the early game, make sure you check the Noonday Park map page and understand that you’ll want to enter via the back entrance off Shallowford Road, not the front entrance off Hawkins Store Road. If you enter via the front entrance, you’ll end up a with a l-o-n-g walk to our game field.
- DH girl needed @ 1:15 PM: Cobb Schools’ fall break left us short on players. We filled most roster spots with double-header volunteers. As of Friday night, we still have one roster spot open in the 1:15 PM game. The ideal candidate is a player who is scheduled for the 12:00 game. If your daughter is set to play at 12:00, and is available to play again at 1:15, please notify Ward when your daughter arrives for her noon game.
- Uniforms: We’re wearing our yellow uniforms for all games. We’ll use colored practice vests to distinguish teams in the intra-Academy games. If your daughter has both this year’s and last year’s yellow shirt, have her wear her new one and bring her old one as a potential loaner.
- Uniform not yet delivered? Have your daughter wear her gray practice shirt. If she doesn’t have either her yellow game day shirt or gray practice shirt, have her wear a light colored shirt.
- No jewelry! This is worth a 2nd reminder, because it can prevent spirit-crushing boo-hoo-hoo moments. Link: jewelry rule
- Warm-up captains: Girls whose names are in bold print with a (C) indicator are warm-up captains. They are responsible for gathering their teammates and helping the coaches start pre-game warm-up. Link: warm-up ideas

- Be your daughter’s biggest fan.
- Be the other players’ 2nd biggest fan. (Even the girls on the other team.)
- We encourage you to offer encouragement after plays, but we ask that you let the girls focus on making their own decisions during plays.
