We’re home for two intra-Academy 7v7 games. It’s a “sleep late Saturday” game day with 3:15 PM and 4:30 PM games.
Roster swap: We have a player whose family needs to switch from the 4:30 game to the 3:15 game. If your daughter is scheduled to play at 3:15 but is available to switch to the 4:30 game, please e-mail Ward.
Game day notes:
- Uniform colors: We’re going with distinct uniform colors for each game. One team will wear yellow, the other blue. Check the table below for your daughter’s assigned uniform color. Have your daughter bring her other uniform jersey just in case we need to make a roster switch.
- Player requirements: Shin guards are required, and must be covered by soccer socks.
- Player no-nos:
- No jewelry (see rules about jewelry).
- No hard or sharp hair accessories like large plastic clips, metal hair clips or beads.
- No bubble gum or chewing gum.
- Warm-up captains: Girls whose names are in bold print with a (C) indicator are warm-up captains. They are responsible for gathering their teammates and helping the coach start pre-game warm-up. Link: warm-up ideas
- Coaches on the field: We’ll have a coach for each team. The coaches will instruct from the field in the first half of each game. Coaches will be back on the sideline for the second half.
- Supportive parent tips:
- Be your daughter’s biggest fan.
- Be the other girls’ 2nd biggest fan.
- Please allow the girls to make their own decisions.
