We start our fall 2023 game day schedule on Saturday, September 9. We have three games against the Tophat Smyrna girls, plus two intra-Academy games. This page contains game rosters and game day details. All games take place at Metro North Park on the Tops field.
East Cobber parade alert: The formerly annual East Cobber parade is back this Saturday. You’ll want to avoid Johnson Ferry Road between Upper and Lower Roswell Roads during the morning hours. More details here: https://eastcobber.com/parade-route/.
Game day notes:
- About game days: We ask that parents and their daughters spend 10 minutes together reviewing what happens on game days, along with understanding player and parent responsibilities and guidelines. Links: what to expect on game day #1 / general game day procedures and guidelines
- No jewelry! We may have a real referee. “No jewelry” is one of soccer’s rules. It’s a rule, not a suggestion. Link: jewelry rule
- Hot weather / hydration: We’re likely to have hot weather, so it’s time for a reminder about hydration. Tip: good hydration starts before Saturday morning!
- Uniform colors: We’re home, which mens we wear yellow. We’ll use colored practice vests to distinguish teams in the intra-Academy games.
