Game Day: Saturday, October 7, 2023

Our games are scheduled on Noonday Park back field #9A near Quest Park. Use the back Noonday Park entrance off  Shallowford Road to access field #9A (not the Hawkins Store Road entrance nearest to Quest). If you use the front entrance from Hawkins Store Road, you’ll leave yourself a long walk to the back fields.

Game day notes:

  • No jewelry!  We will likely have a real referee. “No jewelry” is one of soccer’s rules. It’s a rule, not a suggestion. Link:  jewelry rule
  • Uniform colors:  We’ll wear home colors (yellow) for both games. We’ll use colored practice vests to distinguish teams in the intra-Academy games.
  • 7v7 play:  We enter the world of 7v7 play instead of our more common 5v5 format. We recommend you spend 30-60 minutes of time with your daughter reviewing our 7v7 document. You can clear some table space, get some board game pieces, and go to town helping the girls get familiar with positional names and responsibilities.

Supportive parent tips:

  1. Be your daughter’s biggest fan.
  2. Be the other girls’ 2nd biggest fan.
  3. Please allow the girls to make their own decisions.
