Game day notes:
- Road trip: The games are at the Tophat Buckhead fields close to the Georgia Governor’s Mansion.
- No jewelry! We will likely have a real referee. “No jewelry” is one of soccer’s rules. It’s a rule, not a suggestion. Link: jewelry rule
- Uniform colors: We’re the away team, so we’ll wear our blue game day uniforms. We’ll use practice vests to distinguish teams in the intra-Academy game.
- 7v7 play: We’ll play 7v7 games. We recommend you spend 30-60 minutes of time with your daughter reviewing our 7v7 document. You can clear some table space, get some board game pieces (or coins), and go to town helping the girls get familiar with positional names and responsibilities.
- Sharpies help defeat the evil lost and found gremlin: We’re approaching the time of year when girls in the morning games may want to wear hoodies and/or warm-up pants during warm-up. This is an ideal environment for the evil lost & found gremlin to strike. Please take a couple of minutes with a Sharpie to note your daughter’s initials and uniform number on the inside tags of these items.

Supportive parent tips:
- Be your daughter’s biggest fan.
- Be the other girls’ 2nd biggest fan.
