Current NTH Junior Academy players:
Does your daughter want to stay in the Junior Academy / Academy program for the 2020-2021 soccer year? She can do so without requiring a tryout. (All 25 of our Junior Academy girls showed they belonged at this level between the start of team camp last August and the shut-down in mid-March.) Here’s what you need to do to lock in your daughter’s spot:
- If you have not yet done so, please register your daughter for tryouts (even though tryouts are canceled). This gets you in the NTH database for fall 2020 and triggers your coach to issue an invitation for your daughter to return.
- For girls with 2012 birth years, this means the U9 Academy with coach Kimmie.
- For girls with 2013 birth years, this means the Junior Academy with coach Ward.
- Expect an email invitation from NTH to register for a specific program. (This will likely happen late in the first week of June.)
- Accept your invitation.
Prospective NTH Junior Academy players:
Does your daughter want to join the NTH Junior Academy program? We aren’t currently allowed to gather in large numbers for traditional tryouts. But we still have plenty of openings for new players!
If your daughter is interested in joining, please contact the coach and let the coach know your daughter would like to be considered. The coach will follow-up to arrange an evaluation.
Update from May 31: We’ve released our “plan B” player evaluation details
Message from NTH, May 20 @ 7 PM:
NTH Soccer Families,
This Spring has seen an unprecedented situation due to the Covid-19 pandemic. While every player, coach, and the club is ready to be back on the fields, the reality is that we must continue to adhere to the guidelines of our local government and health officials guidelines. The safety of our players remains our top priority. As such, for the time being, there are severe restrictions on how many where to order tramadol online players can come and train at the fields. Due to these limitations, tryouts would not be an effective process to assess players and place them on teams. In collaboration with other major clubs in Georgia
(including Ambush, AFU, Concorde, Georgia Express, GSA, LSA, Steamers FC, SSA, TYSA, and UFA), the difficult decision has been made to cancel tryouts.
While tryouts may not be traditionally taking place, teams will still be formed at this time for the 2020-21 Soccer Year. NTH will be building teams by coaches contacting players from last year’s NTH teams first and then responding to interest from outside the Club. To be considered for a position at NTH, you must first register for tryouts online at www.nasatophat.com. Once your coach has offered you a spot, you will receive an acceptance email to accept your place.
To properly register for the 2020-21 year:
Register for tryouts (if not already done so).
Expect an email invitation to register for a specific team.
Accept your invitation.
*This season is a new uniform year, however, due to the pandemic and its impact on the economy. NTH is not requiring current/returning players to purchase new uniforms this year. NTH has pushed the new uniform deal to June 2021. More details to come over the summer.
FAQ’s
Will my player be able to make a higher level team? Yes, all players will be assessed for placement within their age group for U9-12 during the July Camp. For u13 and up, assessments will be available based on their current coach’s recommendation.
If I register early, am I guaranteed a roster spot? Yes, all returning players will be placed on a team. We cannot guarantee the level they will be placed at, but if you register now, we will put you on a team for the Fall season.
If I register late, will I be penalized? While there is no penalty, a team may fill up.
If I am not currently a part of NTH, can I be assessed for a team? Yes. Please register for tryouts, and reach out to the coach. All contact information is on website. Contact program Director if you have any questions.
Once again, thank you for your continued support and patience. This was not an easy decision to make, but the safety of our players will always be our top priority.
Sincerely,
NTH Leadership Team
